Fall 2020 Soccer Programming Information
SYSA has hired professional coaches to organize and run skills clinics with small sided no contact scrimmages for the following age groups/times. Registration is limited to 20 boys and 20 girls for each of the following time slots:
- Grade 7/8: 10-11am
- Grade 5/6: 9-10am
- Grade 3/4: 8-9am
- Grade 2: 8-9am
- Grade 1: 9:15-10:15am
- Grade K: 10:30-11:30am
- Pre-K: 11:45am-12:45pm
- * Times are subject to change depending on the final # of registrants, but will be Saturday mornings (field locations TBD)
Clinics will run 7 weeks, from September 19th to November 7th (NO SKILLS 10/10- Columbus Day Weekend)
Safety Information/COVID Policies
SYSA will be adhering to the following guidelines put out by local and state mandates, as well as Mass Youth Soccer to ensure the safety of all participants.
To participate or attend participants and volunteers and spectators must show no signs or symptoms of Covid 19 for 14 days. Current symptoms as defined by the CDC are:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Participants will wear masks as they are coming on and exiting the fields as well as during soccer activities.
Registration will be limited to 20 boys and 20 girls/age group
Spectators must wear masks and remain 6 feet apart at all times.
1 Parent of Pre-K-Grade 2 Players may remain at the field, Parents of Grade 3-8 players will drop off/pick up only.
Drop off and pick up will be staggered by time and/or entrance/exits to ensure proper social distancing.
Sportsmanship will continue in a touchless manner- no handshakes/slaps/fist bumps
Participants and coaches must achieve proper hand hygiene at the beginning and end of all activities, either through hand washing with soap and water or using an alcohol based hand sanitizer.
For travel families that "carried over" spring registration fees to the fall, choose the "PAY LATER" option at the end of the registration process. All others should choose the "PAY" option at the end of registration.
